Sanne Veldman
Human movement scientist and physiotherapist

Sanne is a Human Movement Scientist and Physiotherapist and completed her PhD at the University of Wollongong in Australia. After a postdoc at the University of Michigan, USA, she started at the Child Health Care Department at the end of 2018. Sanne is interested in physical activity, health and development in young children (0-5 years) with a special focus on gross motor skill development. Her research focuses on the health- and developmental benefits of gross motor skills and physical activity, and how this can be promoted through designing and implementing (motor skill) interventions.
